Nervous system healing, breathwork, and trauma-informed 1:1 work for people who have tried everything — and still can't feel at home in their own body.
"Your body isn't broken. It learned how to survive. That's different. And once you understand that difference, everything about how you heal changes."
I grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas — playing soccer, running cross country, spending every hour I could outside. That early life as an athlete taught me something that no classroom could: the body is extraordinary when it's working. When it's not, everything suffers.
I became a chiropractor because I was obsessed with how the body works. But years into practice, I started seeing something I couldn't ignore. People would come in with back pain, neck pain, headaches — and I'd adjust them, they'd feel better, and then they'd be back three weeks later with the same problem. Because the problem was never just their spine.
It was their nervous system. Stuck in survival mode. Running on stress and cortisol and years of things that never got processed.
"I've been where my patients are. I know what it feels like when your body stops cooperating — when the thing you live in becomes the thing working against you."
— Dr. Patrick Storey, DCI moved to South Carolina, met my wife Gabrielle, and built two practices — Vigor Chiropractic for structural care, and this practice for the deeper work. I still play pickup soccer, run, and train CrossFit. I believe in living what I practice.
The people I work with have tried everything. They're not looking for another thing to try. They're looking for someone willing to understand what their body is actually saying. That's what I'm here for.
Every offering here works with your nervous system's intelligence — not against it. The goal is never to override what your body is doing. It's to help it find a safer way to be.
Whether we're doing breathwork, somatic work, or coaching — the nervous system is always the lens. Not because it's a trend. Because it's the mechanism. Pain, anxiety, shutdown, disconnection — these are not character flaws. They are nervous system adaptations that made sense once and are now costing you.
When the nervous system learns it's safe, the body stops protecting itself from the inside out. That's the shift I'm here to help create.
Structural chiropractic care at vigorchiro.comMost healing systems try to move faster than the nervous system can safely go. This one doesn't.
Take the nervous system assessment first. Then we have a discovery conversation — not a sales call. I want to understand your history, your patterns, and whether this work is actually the right fit for where you are right now. I'd rather tell you this isn't the right time than take you on before you're ready.
In our first session, we build a picture of your nervous system — what state it defaults to, what's been driving the pattern, and what conditions it needs to begin shifting. This isn't a protocol. It's a map made specifically for your system.
Sessions combine breathwork, somatic awareness practices, and nervous system education — titrated to what your system can safely integrate. We don't push. We create conditions for the body to do what it already knows how to do: return to safety.
The goal of this work is never dependency. Every session gives you something you can use independently. By the end of our container, regulation isn't something that happens in sessions — it's something you know how to create for yourself. That's what lasting change looks like.
